Background:
I was born in northern Indiana, and grew up in Ohio, Texas and Indiana.
I graduated from Columbus North High School in Columbus, Indiana, and lived a summer abroad with a family outside of Santiago, Chile during my junior year.
I earned my B.A. in Spanish from Indiana University where I also minored in Fine Art and Psychology. My junior year I lived abroad in Madrid, Spain and attended the Universidad Complutense.
I attended graduate school at Memphis State University with a degree in School Psychology. Additionally, I completed the equivalent of an Eds. degree in School Psychology at UW-Whitewater in 2006.
During 2009-2010, I completed my administrative degree on-line through UW-Eau Claire as a Director of Special Education and Pupil Services. I have been an acting school psychologist for 12 years and a Director of Special Education for 5 years.
